You are a lot like your mommy. I think from the moment I found out about you, I knew you were going to be my little bud.
I had a feeling you were a boy from the beginning. You loved hanging out with mommy so much you didn’t want to come out! When the Doctor said you may need a little bit of encouragement, she scheduled your arrival on your sister’s 2nd birthday. You knew she wasn’t going to want to share her day, so you decided to arrive a little earlier. You looked just like your sister did when she was born, only the boy version with a sharper nose You fit right in to our little family right away. Your sister adored taking care of you and you looked up at her with stars in your eyes.
As you approach your 2nd birthday it is becoming clear you will be a little firecracker, just like your mommy! You are fiercely independent, but yet struggle with wanting me to stay close by. More and more you enjoy playing with your sister. She loves being around you and sharing her time with you. I can see you will be close as you get older. My hope for you is that you both take care of each other for a long time.

I’ll like you for always,
as long as I’m living,
my baby you’ll be”
