Letters to Our Sons – February 2013

Dear Son,

You turned two recently and have also been fighting for your independence.  But at the end of the day, your favorite thing is still to “nuggle” with mommy and daddy in your rocking chair.

You are transitioning over to the “Two’s” at your preschool.  You absolutely love the new challenge  and being with the older kids.  You’ve started to count and know your numbers to ‘4’.   You’ve grown a lot over the past couple months too.  I had to buy you all new pants and shirts last week.  You are starting to look like a little boy and no longer a baby.

Your favorite things to play with are cars, trucks and trains.  For your birthday, grandma and grandpa gave you a train table with wooden tracks and trains.  It took daddy and grandpa 2 hours to put all the tracks together.  :)  We love to watch as you discover new things.

I am excited to be a part of “letters to our children” blog circle with other photographers and moms. We write monthly letters in honor of our children and hope you enjoy reading them with us. Please head over to my friend, Katie Gardner‘s blog for her monthly letter to her daughter.

jennburnett - Awww, Nicole! I remember when our son started to look like a little boy instead of cute baby… it really goes so quickly. Beautiful letter!
