Letter to My Son – September 2013 | Minot, ND Photographer

Dear Son,

You are starting to communicate more and more each month.  I love the honesty of children, you always know where you stand with them.  And at this age, my little boy, you are telling us how you feel often!  The professing of love, the expressing of anger, at least we are kept up to date on what you are thinking!  You aren’t as frustrated lately as you have been in the past few months.  I think you are starting to realize that you can do more and more if you try.

At the end of last month we had an addition to our family.  Our dog had puppies!  You have loved the experience of seeing them grow, feeding them and playing with them.

Some things we did this month: trips to visit grandparents (picking apples in grandma’s apple orchard), playing with cousins in Canada (although they are girls, so you play for 10 mins before retreating to your cars and trains) :), playing with friends and watching the puppies grow:)

You are starting to become more boy than toddler, I am missing my ‘baby’ every day, but enjoy watching you become a little man <3

I love you to the moon and back, baby boy.

Love,

Mommy
